Propose an essay, explainer, comparison, historical piece or focused reflection suited to curious general readers. A strong pitch names its central question, explains what the reader will understand by the end and shows how the piece differs from familiar advice or slogans.

A good fit

Keep the subject specific and the reasoning grounded. We welcome clear language, thoughtful distinctions and examples that illuminate an idea without standing in for every reader's experience. Avoid unsupported psychological claims, disguised promotion, recycled self-help formulas and advice that requires professional expertise.
